I am a licensed clinical social worker (NY and NJ), and I truly believe that emotional wellness is the foundation of a balanced and fulfilling life.
In my practice, I support clients through life’s many challenges—whether it’s managing depression, anxiety, navigating difficult transitions, making tough decisions, or dealing with relationship issues, loss, or chronic pain. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches; including cognitive-behavioral therapy, supportive psychotherapy, person-centered therapy, and psychoanalytic methods—always adapting to what feels most helpful for you.
I speak fluent English, Swedish, and Polish, with a basic understanding of Hebrew. Working with people from diverse backgrounds is something I deeply value; it enriches my practice and helps me grow alongside my clients.
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is at the heart of meaningful change. No specific technique can replace the trust and connection we build together. It’s within that relationship that real progress happens. My role isn’t to provide the answers but to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and heard—so that, together, we can explore your life, challenges, and strengths.
Psychotherapy is about easing the emotional weight we carry and getting to the root of what’s causing it. I believe we all have the answers within us, but life’s challenges can cloud our ability to access them. If I can sit with you in those tough moments and hold space for your feelings, my hope is that, over time, you’ll feel more equipped to manage and understand your emotions.
Ultimately, my goal is for you to leave psychotherapy with a clearer sense of self, feeling more grounded, hopeful, and connected to who you truly are. Together, we’ll work toward helping you live a life that feels authentic and aligned with your values. It’s not just about feeling better. It’s about gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and your place in the world, so that you can live in a way that feels true to who you are.
